Just saw this pictures at CBBC and thought I'll just post it here.
Beverley Cahill, 7, looks around her bedroom after winds ripped off a wall. Her home was almost totally destroyed.
In North Carolina, the hurricane weakened to a tropical storm, but people still had to cover their faces from the sand, wind and rain.

Anyway, some Harry Potter news. A HP4U.co.uk has a fan report from the Edinburgh Book Festival on August 15. Here are some several questions being asked to JK Rowling.
Will Lockhart be in future books?
No.
When Harry's parents were killed by Voldemort, Wormtail turned into a rat and faked his death. How then did he give Voldemort his wand and robe back once he found him?
[After tapping her nose] He hid them.
Really cool that Lockhart's not going to come back. I still think he might be better off continuing his stay at St Mungo's.

1 He's known to his friends and on the set as a prankster. Once, he stole Robbie Coltrane's (Hagrid) cell phone and translated everything into Turkish. His mom made him write an apology letter. "Really sweet" said Coltrane, after he had his cell phone messages translated back into English by his friend's Turkish girlfriend. Also, Dan got the makeup lady to make him look like he'd just been beaten up, and he came on the set and everyone was like " Omigosh, Dan, what happened?!" When everyone found out, they chased him around the set with waterguns. The list goes on forever.
2 His lucky number is 9. [Now, Karen, I know you're going to make your lucky number 9 too..lol]
3 Dan doesn't feel attracted to girls with Caucasian characteristics, which means someone who's tall with blonde hair, blue/green eyes, white/fair skin, and with an accent. His Caucasian exceptions are Cameron Diaz and Kirsten Dunst.
