Olney pancake race 2006
The Olney Pancake Race takes place every year to mark Shrove Tuesday in the town of Olney, England. Residents have staged the race since 1445.
Here a pupil from an Olney school takes part in the race, where contestants run as fast as they can to the church, while carrying a pancake in their frying pan.
